This restaurant was all that and more.
The food is divine. There is a huge selection. I don't eat meat, and that was no problem. But there was meat for you meat lovers, too.
There was too much of a selection to pin point one. And it's all well described, so you can mix and match at your pleasure on the buffet, which I'm sure most people order from.
The buffet is the way to go. I am sure short orders to go are great, but one misses out on the "refill". Can't do that.
Clean, great service. This is the real deal. -

This Mediterranean buffet is a hidden gem in the heart of the Bardstown road located in the mid-city mall. Food was excellent with several varieties (15 plus) fresh salads/appetizers, entrees (tons of fresh veggies, meat), desserts, and fresh fruits. My favorite was their beef kebob and their hummus was simply AMAZING. I enjoyed eating all my favorite food such as moussaka, beef kebob, very tender lamb meat, grape leaf, baba gonoush, sharwma, spicy hummus, etc. I would prefer to go here any day than any other Mediterranean restaurant because there are so many foods to choose from - about 15 plus including 7 or more different salads, 10 or more AMAZING main and side dishes, 4 different fresh desserts, and 2 to 3 fresh fruits. In addition, the price you pay here is very reasonable - under $20 per person.
This is the second time I have been here. First time I came during lunch with my co-workers and the second time with my family for dinner. Everyone enjoyed it very much.
In addition, the staff is very kind and sincere. If you do not see certain food out do not get hangry and frustrated. Just ask..... for example: when we got there for dinner there were several types of meat missing in the buffet area. This probably would have ticked off other meat eater customers but I knew it takes time since they make it all from scratch using fresh ingredients and bring out fresh food every few hours. We patiently ate other food and asked our waiter politely to let us know when beef kebob comes out to the buffet area. Sure enough, the waiter let us know and we all got to enjoy a variety of fresh meat. It was very DELICIOUS and sure did hit the spot. Had we gone to the other Mediterranean restaurants and order what we ate....the bill would have been $40-50 per person or $250 plus for 4 people. But, we paid less than $20 per person. Also, I took my 1-year-old baby with me. They had the child seat and the staff were very friendly to my baby too.
This place is very clean too so don't let initial reviews of other customers scare you. I am sure when they first opened they had challenges and I can tell they have overcome those hurdles. Give them a chance and support local ethnic restaurants. You will not disappoint! Oh forgot to mention - The entrance to this buffet is towards the Bardstown road next to the Comedy Caravan. Sometimes GPS goes cray-cray and gives the entrance towards the back of movie theater or noodle restaurant so be mindful. If you come through the back when hangry you will be walking for good 4-5 mins so I advised you not to unless you want to get your steps. Also, this place will be a VERY good place to eat for vegans, eggs/dairy intolerance customers too. I am ready to visit again! -

Hands down, the best Arabic food I've ever had that wasn't straight out of my family's kitchen. I'm eating moussaka, grape leaves, red snapper, and I'm a child again. This food is made with care, made with love. The hummus is pure tahini. The spicy potatoes are a taste explosion. I could eat here every day, three times a day, five times a day, and never get tired of it.
Arabic food aficionados! Eat here! Meanwhile, I'm going to try not to eat everything before you make your way here. -

For $16+$3 tip this was a fantastic dinner. Walked in and seated pretty fast. Head for the buffet spread , plates and silverware were all by the stations. First impression was all the food trays were stocked up pretty full with delicious looking food. The hummus bar and the salads were all fresh. There is a pita toaster that you could heat up a pita for your hummus and babaganoosh. I wasn't in the mood for much carbs tonight so I hit all the meat that was available, chicken baked roasted stewed bone in or boneless was amazing. The shush kabob wAs tasty. Lentil soup was so soothing for a cold night. To finish it off with some baklava. Everything was spot on flavor wise. I know where to go if I have craving just for meat. They are affiliated with the falafel house down the street by Baxter.

Day shopping trip to the outlet Decided to stay over in Louisville. We saw the great reviews on Yelp and since we've started a plant-based diet, decided the buffet would be a great alternative. We got there at 11:00, stated open time. However, they were not ready for patrons. It was a bit after 11:30 when they said we could start eating and all the food was not ready!! Maybe some growing pains. In general, the food was good. I don't know why someone would say there are few meat options? Really? I saw several chicken dishes, lamb, meatballs, stuffed zucchini. What else could you want?!? Lots of salads and they really do look like the pics on Yelp. The hummus was delish. I did see them putting out 1/2 empty pans of dessert
Which told me they were leftover, but that's all good, desserts have a longer shelf life, but just seemed odd not to put them out like that. My real issue is that you would think they would offer some accommodation or even apology for the fact that we waited that long for food!! If you are not ready to serve at 11, the open at 11:30! No apology, nothing. Just "you can eat now."
